It would be interesting to compare other statistics alongside those above.

France and Czech. Rep. have murder rates of 1 per 100,000

USA has a murder rate of 5 per 100,000 ... Indonesia 9 per 100,000

So are belief and morality relative to each other ...

The US has horrible murder rates, our gun violence rates are so super high! We are so stubborn and perhaps convinced that if guns were illegal, we wouldn't be able to protect ourselves.

China had a large atheist population, but now that information is propagating better there, Christianity has been on the rise (perhaps other religions too.) I don't know for sure why, but it may be that when it comes to religion they are more like children, and are just learning about some of this stuff.

What do you think?

My personal #1 reason that I don't like religion is because I like knowledge! And Religion suppresses knowledge; not just the knowledge unfortunately, but it suppresses the entire drive to understand.
